Symphony Uncorked concludes its summer performances with a night of string duets in the Pavilion. This duet of a cello and a double bass is a nontraditional duet, but a beautiful one none the less. These low voices of the string section will perform in the round with the musicians in the center of The Pavilion and the audience surrounding on all sides. This unique experience will allow listeners to be fully immersed in the music and get to know the musicians even better. Canton Symphony Orchestra musicians Eleanor Lee (cello), and Thomas White (double bass), will take you behind the scenes of their musical selections and tell the stories of their own journeys in music. A cash bar will be available, so enjoy a glass of wine in the beautiful Pavilion as you hear this string quartet take the stage.
The Bistro, The Crush House and The Piazza (weather permitting) will be open for dinner before or after the performance. Reservations are recommended for dining in The Bistro. The Crush House and The Piazza offer first come, first served, hosted seating with more casual dining options.
